Why events deserve their own coverage

Showers and parties take months to plan and then pass in a blur. The host is busy, the guests are mingling, and the details everyone worked on, from the dessert table to the florals, barely get a second look.

Event content gives the host something to revisit. Instead of a handful of phone photos from different guests, you get a single, consistent set of candid photos and videos from the whole event.

02

What gets captured

Coverage follows the event as it unfolds, with a focus on people rather than posed lineups.

  • Guests arriving and the first reactions to the space
  • Decor, florals, desserts and the small details
  • Games, toasts and speeches
  • Candid conversations and laughter
  • The moment the dance floor fills up
03

Not just showers

Event coverage works for more than one kind of celebration. Created by Gabbs has covered bridal showers, a charity girls night with a runway show for the Children's Aid Society, and grand openings with ribbon cuttings. The approach is the same each time: stay close to the action and keep out of the way.

Showers, parties, launches and corporate days all follow the same pattern. There is a clear start and end, a lot happening at once, and a host who would like to enjoy it rather than document it.

04

What it costs and what you get

Event packages start at $300 CAD for two hours of coverage. You receive unlimited photos and videos from the event, plus a highlight reel between 30 and 60 seconds long.

If your event runs longer or has several parts, coverage can be extended and quoted to fit.

05

How to get the most from two hours

A little preparation goes a long way when the window is short.

  • Share the schedule so the highlights, like speeches or games, are not missed
  • Have the decor finished before coverage starts
  • Tell your creator about any surprises or special guests
  • Mention anyone who would prefer not to be filmed
  • Pick a start time that catches the room while it is still tidy
